Community Guidelines
Last updated 21 October 2026
Boutt is launching soon in Lahore. These pages describe how the app will work when it goes live. Questions before then? Email [email protected].
Boutt works when people can trust that a game will happen and that everyone will be decent to each other. These guidelines apply in the app, in chats, and at the games you organise through it.
Respect everyone
- Welcome new players and every skill level. Everyone started somewhere.
- No insults, threats, or abuse based on religion, ethnicity, gender, disability, background or anything else.
- Disagree about a call? Talk it out calmly, or move on. No fighting.
- Keep chats about the game. Don't send unwanted personal messages or keep messaging someone who has not replied.
Show up
- If you join a game, be there on time. If plans change, leave the game in the app as early as you can so someone else can play.
- Hosts: book the court before you post, keep the game details accurate, and cancel in the app if it's off.
- Pay your agreed share of the court fee.
Be honest
- Use your real name and a photo of yourself.
- Describe the game honestly: level, format and venue.
- Leave fair reviews about real experiences.
Not allowed on Boutt
- Harassment, hate speech, threats or violence.
- Sexual content or advances, and any contact with minors of a sexual nature.
- Selling, advertising, gambling or betting on games.
- Fake accounts, fake games, scams or spam.
- Sharing someone else's personal information without their permission.
- Anything illegal under Pakistani law.
Staying safe when meeting new players
In an emergency, call 15 (police) or 1122 (rescue) first. Then report the player in the app.
- Meet only at the venue, in public. Don't share your home address or accept rides from people you just met.
- Keep chat in the app until you know someone. It lets us help if something goes wrong.
- Tell a friend or family member where you are playing and when.
- Look at a player's profile, reliability and reviews before you join their game.
- Trust your instincts. You can leave any game at any time.
- Never send money in advance to someone you haven't played with.
- Play within your fitness, warm up, and stop if you are hurt.
Boutt is for people aged 16 and over.
Reporting and blocking
- Report: open the player's profile and tap Report. They won't know who reported them.
- Block: on the same screen, tap Block. They can no longer message you, send friend requests, or find you in search.
- You can also email [email protected].
We review every report and act on the most serious ones first.
What happens when guidelines are broken
Depending on how serious it is, we may give a warning, remove content, limit features, or close the account. Serious threats or illegal behaviour may be reported to the police. If you think we got it wrong, reply to our message or email [email protected].
